Is God Displeased with Cardinals?
CNN fascinates me to no end. Half the time I check their website solely to see what headlines they have thought up to describe today's events. The main page always has a main article with a blurb and picture to help capture the moment. This evening the main article is about the conclave, which will begin in Rome tomorrow. They have a picture of St. Peter's basilica with dark skies overhead and the caption "Dark clouds over St. Peter's Basilica Sunday". In the blurb for the article they make it all mysterious with phrases like "Shrouded in secrecy", "private meetings at the Vatican", and "isolated from the outside world".
Put it all together and I feel like I am reading the end of The DaVinci Code again. They really should have used a slightly more outlandish picture and title though:
Cardinals to Elect Pope. Will God be pleased?
